Submission Guidelines

Thinking of presenting at COTS 2022? You can look forward to these presentation formats:

Standard Presentation

Presentations on related topics will be grouped together by the Program Committee. Each presentation in the session will be 15–20 minutes long.

Coordinated Symposium

Three to five separate presentations, all focused on a common theme. One of the presentations may consist of a discussion, analysis, and/or contextualization of another session or sessions. All symposia will occupy a or 60-minute time slot.

Panel Presentation

Two to five individuals discussing different aspects of a common theme with limited audience participation. All panel presentations will occupy a 60-minute time slot.

Demonstration

60-minute session in which presenters demonstrate a technique or method related to a core aspect of test security.

Facilitated Roundtable

60-minute session that promotes networking and invites audience engagement around an important test security topic. Session will begin with a short, informal introduction to frame a conversation, followed by a free-flowing dialogue among audience members.

Poster Presentation

60-minute session to include multiple posters on various topics. Poster presentations are informal and involve one-on-one interactions with many attendees.

Additional Formats

The COTS Program Committee is open to additional creative suggestions for presentation formats. Individuals can describe different format ideas in the proposal submission form.
